Yes Sir! I'm going to lay down some future on this later and then some chipping fluid. I was thinking about hair spray though, I heard it smells better...
I got a bit more done on this one today! I had laid down future on the R.O. the other day so I figured today was as good as any other to try chipping effects. I tired before but used enamels over the chipping fluid... I didn't know what I didn't know, hahaha.
So after the chipping fluid went the Dark Yellow. I started with strait dark yellow on the very bottom (road wheels) and panel lines. Then I added a little bit of white to the mix and moved to the inside of the panel lines and up the hull. Then a little more white, very top of the hull and very center of the panels. I think it came out pretty nice. Then I went to scrubbing back. Here's how she looks now. Well, I did seal all this in with future after these pictures.
Next up will be sorting out the remaining sprocket and final road wheel on the tracks, then more chipping fluid, then green and red/brown for the ambush paint theme. I'm going to try and do with the green and red/brown what I did with the dark yellow.
Hope you guys like it.
Thanks for following along.
I am not so good at freehand with the A.B. so I masked off areas for the green.
Green painted on and then taken back. (There are a few areas I need to touch up before I lay down the next coat of future. I scrubbed a little too hard taken it back in places.)
This is looking great Adam. The chipping on here is awesome. I am planning on doing something similar with the M4 I got from Secret Santa but with a winter camo. I will be asking for some tips when the time comes. ;D
