Hi!

My name is Nick (Christ, this already sounds like an addicts meeting!). I'm from England, not terribly far from London. I have just got back into modelling after a twenty year break - my wife bought me an 11" Eagle which I have recently finished. I used to make lots of military aeroplane models as a kid. I've just started a Moebius Galactica (yes, another one on the forum!).

I got this site address from a comment on Resinilluminati and have been enjoying Scott's Youtube videos (you're a very entertaining guy, Scott!) and decided that this looked like a fun place to hang out and ask some silly questions to those in the know. I'm looking forward to getting to know you folks.

No, I'm not a football fan - 22 grossly overpaid, ill-educated louts running around swearing, spitting and taking dives on pitch, and smashing up hotels and super cars by DUI, beating up girl friends and hookers. No, I'm not a fan! Most of my extended family are Gooners, though my old man is a Sunderland supporter. I always thought that sports was a bit like sex - it's the taking part that counts! I don't really follow any sports, though the Olympics were great and the Paralympics even better. I do enjoy a little sailing, diving and shooting, though.

Grendels, I may be asking your advice in a little while about lighting - your tutorial looks good but I could only take a sneak preview with the sound off, so I'' watch it all through first to avaoid asking repetitive questions.
