Here comes Snoopy in his Sopwith Camel.

Hopefully I can get my rear in gear this week. I have been working on paint. Sad thing is my airbrush kicked the bucket, the gun, that is. It was a super cheap one and the needle went and I couldn't find a needle to fit. I'll be picking up an Iwata as soon as I can but for now, brushes it is.

Why, oh why do I do this to myself. I saw that the wheels look like sew up tires (tyres for PM) :p
I decided to paint the lines. As if there isn't enough tedious things with this build already. LOL

That's why I think a 1/32 scale biplane would be easier than 1/48 scale. You can see the little details better.

Oh, trust me. I do have an adult beverage. I've started like the craft beers, IPAs, burbon barrel aged stouts, etc.

I don't think I would be able to do a 72. The 48 was hard enough! Lol
Thank you. I've been doing a lot of research on this build.
I'll be able to continue when we get back from Tennessee for Thanksgiving.
You have no idea the amount of swearing and cussing I've done while doing rigging on 1/72 scale biplane. It's a wonder I didn't turn into a raging alcoholic, even though I don't drink. ROFL!

I really like the olive green on the wings. Bravo!
I'm definitely bookmarking your build for reference when I do mine.

Why, that's awesome, thank you.

However, it not just olive green. There are several colors under the green in hopes of having the appearance of a translucent canvas.
Light gull grey, light blue, black, buff,
sand (ivory), white, light grey green,
and sky type s.
I used a stencil and randomly sprayed a color and just built it up until I felt that was enough. Then I lightly sprayed the olive drab. And built it up.
I hope that helps. I'm not the best at explaining my madness. lol :D :p
