I would leave it until the end and put a matt varnish over the lot to seal it, then just add the gloss prop afterwards.Question??
Should I leave the wood around the cockpit shiny or tone it down?
Thanks, I do too.I like that much better. Great job!!
I will do that. I'll mask the cockpit then seal it all in once it's finished.I would leave it until the end and put a matt varnish over the lot to seal it, then just add the gloss prop afterwards.
Only a suggestion, you need to be happy with your build the way you envisaged it.

The jewelry thread works beautifully. Thanks for the suggestion.I will do that. I'll mask the cockpit then seal it all in once it's finished.
I ordered the jewelry thread which you showed on your post. It looks to be a great alternative moving forward.
Do you have a link for this wire? I can't find this brand. ThxI have just bought this black wire which I think will work well for the rest of the rigging. Might have to strip out the thread rigging if the wire looks better. Pantherman

Well I'm calling this one. Quite a challenge but most enjoyable especially with the groups help along the way.Got some more of the rigging done, think I will keep using thread on this build.
Decals done so I'm getting closer to the finish line. Pantherman
