Hi everybody, I'm Murph, Live in a place called Cobh (pronounced Cove) in South Cork Ireland.
I'm a retired Paramedic Clinician Married for 23 years to Claire (she that shall be obeyed) Live in a huge ground floor
apartment 20 yards from the sea wall with a 180 degree view of the entrance to Cork Harbour,
the massive cruise liners go right past the front bay window
Been into modelling for donkeys years, model railways, aeroplanes, boats, all sorts, now into Cars and Motorbikes, got a
Pocher 1:8 scale Lamborghini Aventador on the way from Germany it will be the most challenging thing I've ever done
so expect lots of questions, has anyone else tackled this beast ? Looking forward to it though, I already have most modelling tools
I've collected over the years just one or two bits to get for this one including a tapping set which someone suggested will be useful
as there's shed loads of self tapping screws but tapping first makes it easier apparently, watch this space !!!
Looking forward to meeting ye all
Slainté Murph

Hey Lads, Thanks for the welcomes, the Lambo is now in Budapest awaiting a connecting flight to god knows where !! Don't set me off on F****** airbrushes I'm having a nightmare with mine, never used one till recently, did everything by the book, watched videos on You Tube about the correct mixing of the paint to thinners, all sorts, then bit the bullet and had a go, did everything I'd learned like pressing for the air flow then pulling back for paint etc, Jesus Mary and Joseph, do ye think I could get it to spray?? Could I hell, adjusted paint flow at the very back, nothing, lost all hope after an hour and washed it out having failed miserably, thing is I'm desperate to change the colour of the Lambo from that awful yellow to a bright red, any suggestions on a postcard please ?? Gotta fly, doing a gig later on with the band in my favourite local, The Mauritania Bar down town, mostly Trad Irish stuff, I play the Banjo and sing the odd tune while the singer is out on his ciggy break !! Catch yous all later, Murph
P.S. The term "Lads" means a group of both sexes here in the Emerald Isle, before I'm accused of it being called a sexist remark by a Swedish fella on a model railway forum who said I was presuming there were no females who do modelling LOL :rolleyes::rolleyes:

What airbrush do you have?
I use a H&S Infinity CR and a GS23 masters, the only problems I have is when I spray acrylic and forget to put in the drying retarder.
