Honda RCV211 (1/12)

They're great fun Hayden ,and being Tamiya they go together a breeze . Its a bit of a break from the norm too :)

Hi folks :)

Well .....A few more parts ,some washes ,a bit of detail painting and a sprinkling of decals saw the engine done and ready for transplanting into the frame :)
Oh ,and I added jubilee clips to the hoses using foil again :)

They melt though ;D Might be right there, so I guess it one of the older sleds then!!! ;)

That looks awesome, i have had a look at the other thread and looks like it's gonna be a real fun build. I have a 1/9 scale U.S WWII bike that could be a good candidate for th GB but not sure i will find any 1/9 scale weapons and accesories to add to it? anybody know of anything that would fit the bill?
Cheers Jay

Mmmmm 2004 M1 ;D ;D ;D nice bike, what racing team are you going to build it as? I have just been outbid for one on ebay, will have to find an alternative or another reasonably priced one. I will wait for the first pics TRM :)

Thank you very much guys ...T ...that would be a puddle ;D ;D

Jay ,just scratch some weapons ....use some imagination and make something that looks nasty ;D ;D thats what I'll be doing .

Be sticking with Gauloises Yamaha, got some decals from HLJ,plus can't not build the Legendary 46 bike :)

Really amazing what paint can do to plastic when it's on your bench 8)

Was the hose detail molded as part of the part or are those vinyl? Looks super ealistic esp with the foil hose clamps

The hoses are molded plastic parts ,a bit of careful painting and the addition of a few clips really helps them . I paint the rubber hose parts with Tamiya Nato Black ,which isnt quite black ,just looks better I think .

Hi chaps ;D

Got playing with the RCV a little bit ;D
The front end has been done (as you can see ) Also the Tank ,seat subframe and radiators/hoses . The exhausts have also been fitted ,but before putting them in place I gave them a couple of light washes with AK Interactive 'Fuel Stains' , this put a nice tarnished finish on the pipes .

So I just have a few little jobs to finish before getting on with the bodywork ,which means this will probably be the last time you see her nakid ;D, so i took a few pics ;D
