How do you know what paint to use on my model

Depends on the scheme I decide to do. 90 % of the time I won't use the kits decals/color schemes.

Example…. I've got 5 Viper kits and won't use the kit's decals. Instead, I bought aftermarket commemorative decal sets instead.

The orange makes it look like we are going hunting... LOL

EDIT:: I hope I will like the USMC Green and it will look even more like hunting clothes

I guess maybe the H304 is not what was used in the CH-47A charts?

Maybe H78 is close?

H78 is a bit of a darker olive drab. I just airbrushed it on my Glencoe Curtiss Jenny JN-4D tonight. Will post pics later…
