Hello SMA!

I am a mumble year old school teacher living in Northern Ohio (I taught history/government until I was laid off last year ). I am also a 32 year veteran (6.5 US Army, 25.5 US Air Force) who was deployed one too many times to places where they wanted to kill me. I have 3 great children, two wonderful grands and a lovely lady who walked into my life 6 years ago and has kept me semi-sane and alive ever since. I build (mostly) 1/48 early WWII birds and believe that if it ain't cammo it ain't being built in my man cave. Other hobbies include golf (terrible at it) motor scootering, travel (in a car or plane, my butt isn't young enough to do cross-country on a scooter), singing Choral music (I will be performing in Severance Hall in April 2012), reading and cooking/eating. I love dramatic sunsets and long walks on the beach...

And... in case anyone wonders how many times is "1 too many" Once is enough, twice is too much and I went 6 times... Of course one of those deployments was to the US Virgin Islands...

Relax? What is this relax you speak of? It is spring and the house has to be cleaned, dusted, vacuumed... the lawn cut, flower bed (1 only, Hydrangias) cleaned... and the basement... OMG the basement... carpets shampooed...

I was less busy in Iraq working 16 hour shifts!
