IDF Magach 7C

Thanks to you, if you need to know how I did something just ask with confidence, all at some point want to know some technique, and my denifnitivamente not give me the secret techniques that are supposed to be a hobby to enjoy and learn.

Another question about the wire. How do you remove the plastic from the wire? I'm have a tough time at it :-\

Thanks guys.

Wyoroy, for handles:

A short length of circular isolation and withdrawal, the wire being exposed, insulation is used to make the handles.

ahmed malik, for putty´s aplication:

I use Tamiya´s putty diluted with thinner Sherwin Williams Opex R-007 or acetone, applied with an old brush, preference a stiff brush.

THANK YOU for those really useful step by step pictures for making handles! Already in my HD!

Your skills are ............ incredible! Congratulations!

Guys:

Have a nice weekend, in Mexico have a holiday this monday, ok this menssage is for some friends have asked me information on how to make the vehicle identification plate or as did the numbers of the turret. for them here's the explanation.

We took some sprue of the numbers we need, there are some molds that even bring identification letters, well we take what serves us and let go the inserts with these numbers:

With a new razor, flush cut the number and place it in a base where we can see it, in my case, use a Italeri´s sprue, so that you could identify the numbers well.

Usually, we have our nameplate, in this case of an Israeli vehicle, for the turret molds we do is draw a line with a pencil and a flexible rule.

now i would never have taught to do that, ive done the turret markings but to do a plate is a neat idea.

Thanks for your comments guys.

Starting the paint job.....

I seriously use automotive primer that Mr. Surfacer 1200, it is easier to find.

Missing wheels and skirts but I'm more willing to get their hands ...

Noting wrong with Auto Primer, i used to use it my self many years ago

I'm thinking of replacing Mr. Surfacer, in Mexico it is almost impossible to buy, I have half of one and still I have the wheels, fadones and other things, I'll buy some to see how they get along with acrylic paints.

what about Vallajo primers, This is what i have been using for the last 2 years and there great

Last installment of the armed phase of the model: it had a surplus of time looking for a set of Legend that had detailed identification plates; finally found him and put the nameplates skirts and some modular armor components:

And now this weekend if I finish printing the model and paint. I have not the plates are fine, my reference photos, let me not see if they match, if I think it's a mistake to correct later, try to do the best I could.
