Having lurked here for a short while. Thinking this is a good place to ask & find the following. The working scale is 1/48, want to find any resources or providers. Preferably that sell or , produce unpainted figures, painted is fine also.

Thanks in advance

So you're looking for 1/48 scale figures?

Some good producers are ICM, mostly WWII subjects, some Vietnam War; here is the URL to that part of their online catalog:

https://icm.com.ua/catalog/?type=figure

I have ICM's really nice set of WWII USAAF figures. It's got 2 pilots, 1 standing in peaked cap and leather jacket, the other seated, and a couple of mechanics. You can find it as a separate set, but they also sold a boxing of their P-51B (well, their copy of Tamiya's P-51B) that included the figures. Squadron sold it for ten bucks, and I jumped to get one.
ICM also made a very nice set of USAAF bomber pilots and ground crew.

Eduard also made some nice WWI and WWII sets, though many are now out of print. But you can find them on the second-hand market (eg, eBay, at shows, etc) On the Eduard site right now, only their WWI RAF Ground Crew set is showing:

https://www.eduard.com/tag/Figures/RFC-Personnel-WWI-1-48.html?cur=2

They produced more subjects than that, though. I've got their 1/48 USN carrier deck crew set.

Tamiya has some 1/48 figure sets, too. They go with Tamiya's line of 1/48 armor and vehicle kits, and also at least 1 set of WWII US Navy pilots, posed as if briefing on the flight deck before take-off. That kit includes a moto-tug, too.

Ultracast from Canada also make some nice figures, in resin. They're single figures, not sets: https://www.ultracast.ca/1-48-scale-Pilots-s/139.htm

Another maker is CMK (Czech Model Kits), whose 1/48 catalog is here: https://www.cmkkits.com/en/figures/...es=0&fScale=16&fNationality=0&fEra=0&fMaker=0

I have bought directly from CMK through their website, but you can find other vendors who carry their figures, too.

That's all I can think of, off the top of my head, but I've some other links around here somewhere, and I'll share what I can.

I would also look at the more popular sites, like Squadron (you can find ICM's kits on Squadron), Sprue Brothers, and others, and see what they carry.

Hope that helps!

Best regards,
Brad
