Re: ISD "Avenger" [WIP]
Thanks for Your interest, thestickyone. I always wanted to make this kit EXTRA detailed, from the very time I first got it in my hands, so I'm planning to push even more into all those "guts on the outside"
Well, guys.. I returned! ;D
It was quite a challenge for me to decide, in which topic to post this all, as there are several words I'd like to express. But finally I thought to post it all here, as this is the topic in which I'm now making my updates, so let it be a new updating.
Lots of impressions. LOTS.
First of all it is of coarse the ending of the SMA Big Spring Contest (who could have doubt that? =) )
Thank You everyone so much, guys! THANK YOU! Thanks to Scott and the SMA team for holding such a great contest, thanks to all the guys who helped me with inspiration during my building of the entry, to everyone who enjoyed it and voted for it, and of coarse to all of you, Scale Model Addicts, as without you, all the guys making this outstanding site alive such a great event would be impossible.
I've finished watching the results videos seconds ago, and I'm still full of emotions. Great stuff, and biggest congrats to all the winers!
To tell the truth, I can't say I didn't manage to get some spoilers :-[ ))
After receiving a congratulation mail from Scott, I asked my father to watch all the videos (terrible web traffic in places I've visited - I would have lost tons of money during those days the videos should have downloaded) and tell me what exactly did I win, in order to answer the letter
But still watching this all personally is a blast!
And additional thanks to ModelManTom with his awesome LEDpack price and all the guys who voted for me in getting it - my mouth was watering from the first seconds I've learned about this price, and I promise to make some incredible stuff with it
Ok, all thanks are in place, now about the latest progress. Actually none of the real one so far. I had a great trip and excellent time, and during missing my workbench decided on several ways of mounting my star destroyer, but to show anything I have to make them live first, so please give me a day or two to settle down a little bit, guys))
In a meantime, here are some pics, guys, for you to enjoy the beauties of the Tulskaya - area (about 180 km on the South-West from Moscow).
