Kitten In A Tree - Done

Re: Kitten In A Tree

Fan-freakin-tastic, T! The Uber-realism of this is totally off the scale of Coolness.
The only thing missing is the smell of musky rust and acrid cordite. Very, very cool!
Congrats! Bill

Re: Kitten In A Tree

Thank you Sir!! LOL...think it does have a bit of a rusty smell to it. But I am thinking the cordite would be a tough one!! ;)

Re: Kitten In A Tree

I got the kit,T.. its a 2 decade year old Tamiya kit
Tracks already melted, decals unusable instructions
smells of moth.. have to look for a base for this one.

Re: Kitten In A Tree

I'll try to replicate a burned one or something without the tracks... still looking for references, can create my own as of now, still new in the Rust College

Re: Kitten In A Tree

Nice spud!!! ;) But the age...of the kit that is, doesn't matter....it what you Caan Du wit it (best Irish typing accent) ;D

All over that ER!!! Having trouble finding something ey? Let me know what you "think" your heading for and we can point you in the right direction. ;)

Re: Kitten In A Tree

caan fine my torch!!! (hmm nice idea)

T, still looking some wrecks on axis forum... need more of a burned / rundown/ scrap metal ... since most of the parts are already missing especially the spare tracks also disappeared.

Re: Kitten In A Tree

ER, no worries...you will find "The One". It will hit you when you see it!! Unless you are trying to nail the picture that you find...the tracks really don't matter. In your search I am sure you are seeing tons of pics that are minus tracks due to scavaging and what not. This can be applied to what ever you want to build!!!

PM Sent............ ;)

Re: Kitten In A Tree

ER, no worries when it comes to what you have in mind. Take several ref pics of a type of tank and use what you can from each to get the look that you like. remember no two wrecks are a like. So unless you are doing a particular tank and what it exactly as in the pic, anything goes.
