Terrific job recreating the carnage and wierd final resting position of this unfortunate PanzerIV.
Congrats! Looking forward to seeing the final product. Bill
Thank you Bill!!! Tis an odd position. I found a couple more shots of Pz's with the same affliction. Seems these met there fate at the end of their owners....a little scorched earth. One could say this this one would be the same maybe? ???......
Soarin - I think there is certainly fun in perfection. I think spud is saying, and to which I can agree, that many loose the "fun" factor when they try too much for perfection. It is a fine edged sword to walk....but very rewarding!! ;D
Can only guess.......possible impact, H.E., igniting fuel cells....after a good burn several live rounds explode, resulting in flipping the turret and a little bit of a BBQ! ......on a stick!!! ;D
I'm blown away as well, T!
No words t describe how You've fascinated me with your great work once again!
I'd better just look through this thread once again and go seek for my jaw somewhere on the floor
Thank you very much gentlemen!!! I have been working on the tree for this little scene and think I have something I can live with. Letting some glue dry and I will snap some shots!!!
After a failed attempt, the second round seems to be going OK at the moment. This is the Johnt method of tree building (just about). I have substituted the epoxy putty for modeling clay (because that's what I have). But I have still started with the wire frame!!!
More to go on this. White glue on the finer branches and some touch up on the big stuff!!!
