It is man, lotta fun. And that smashed glass that Ken taught us, stupidly easy! Works like a charm!
 
Whoa, whoa, whoa....Smashed Glass! Ken taught you what? Where was I? Son that looks wicked cool. Hulk smash....how?
 
Very nice John. The smashed glass adds a lot of character. Kudos to Ken for sharing that method. That whole article was very informative.
 
Cant leave this thing alone lol, added the chopped off roof:

Cut out a sun roof:

Then used the same icy sparkels trick but this time sprayed it clear green:

Added the lights, with dented covers and home made radiator guard:

Very cool John, the grill & the baldy tyres are great....& the smashed glass......and the Union Jack.....and the mismatched panels.....& the.....I'll stop now!!

Thanks so much guys, I was only going to get this 'finished' but I'm thinking of more stuff to play around with now.....
 
John - I tested out that maskol method this evening on a spare door, and it's pretty great.

My base and second layer were too similar in color unfortunately, so it's hard to see the difference, but I'm going to give it another go.

After the paint test I added a few weathering AK layers.

Did another pass on the same door tonight and it turned out much better.

I REALLY like that chipping method John.
