Wow! What a great model!

Regarding posting pictures, there's more than one way, so it is not a matter of right and wrong.

What I find easiest is to locate the picture in my list and simply right click on it to copy. Then come here, put the cursor where you want the picture and hit ctrl-V. Doing it that way also allows you to adjust the size before hitting the post reply button.

Yes, keep posting pics of your progress please. What scale is your model?
I've had a urge to build the USS Constitution for a long time, I've been aboard twice many, many years ago on school field trips as a youngster.

Hey Kevin, It is a 1/96 Revell kit. I pulled the photo only to practice posting! At this point 100% of the standing rigging is complete; and about 60% of the running rigging. I originally hoped to build a completely rigged ship; however, my Parkinson disease has forced me to shut my project down. I am currently rigging the spanker boom. Next, I hope to rig the boats, and then rap it up. The rap will take at least a month before I can say 'it is finished'. At that point, or sooner, I will post it under ships!!
Now, In my opinion, It is great model. It will require patience and much time. I thoroughly enjoyed the build and though on an extreme learning curve, the rigging.

Thanks for the input. It sure looks like a nice kit. It's the rigging that has dampened my enthusiasm for building one. I attempted building one when I was a kid, don't remember scale or maker, but the frustration of the rigging made me smash it.
I'm now 58, and my patience and modeling skills have improved somewhat. Once I finish my current project, 1/16 panzer IV, I'm going to do a ship. I've been eyeballing the 1/200 USS IOWA, but I'm giving serious consideration to a large scale USS CONSTITUTION. I live close enough to Boston to stop by and see her in person again.

Kudos for your progress on this model.
I have one of these kits that I thought about starting as a long-term project.
Then I visited the USS Constitution in Charlestown Navy Yard near Boston and looked up at the rigging and decided then and there that I would NEVER attempt to reproduce the complexity of the actual rigging!
If anything I'd go with a simpler "representation" because I'm a chicken ;^)

The rigging of a sailing ship is daunting. I have reverted to jury- rigging!
