Sorry about the slight break in transmission .I've been taking care of a lot of the small bits and pieces . Tool box ,jack ,pioneer tools etc .The upper hull is now ready for paint ;D .So I can get on with the side walls and fighting comp .

Tool box .....there is three bits of etch to each latch !!....my eyes hurt !

Thanks Tony ..Im happy if you're happy ;D....BTW ,have you got any pics of the radios ?, Id like to add a little wiring ,but havent got any good ref pics , I think it would look better with a few wires :)

Tiny PieceZ ! WoW CHRIS , th tool box is Bangin' ! Awesome job on th latches. Fiddly to say th least ! May I intrest you in an Opti-Visor ? ( unless you already have one .. ) It makes stuff like this a breeze , but again if you have one then you know !

Are ya' still lookin for German Radio Pix ? I've found some here & there alone th way whilst building Wittmann's Tiger.

- http://panzerfaust.ca/AFV%20interiors/germrads.html - Awesome Reference. It even shows you how they were wired up & names off th Radios & let's you know which one did what !

- http://www.rkk-museum.ru/about/abc_e.shtml - Here's another one. Lots of pix but not much in th way of what combos were used with what Panzers.

- http://www.laud.no/ww2/ - Th Be-All , End-All .... This guy lives in Holland ( I think) He has a Huge Collection of German WWII Radios ... of All Types. Again ... not too much in literature on How they were used etc ... but Great Pix of th Radios !!

Lookin forward to seein' this Marder ... Wired for Sound !! Dont' forget th headphones & throat Mics ! ;D

P.S. .... I just wired up th Tiger Today !! E-Gadds ... what a P.I.A. !! :D

CHEERS !!!

Nice work Chris,

What color of green paint did you use for the engine and tranny?

John ,I actually mixed my own colour ,it may not be quite correct ,but then it cant be seen ;D...I used Humbrol 117 green and lightenedd it with white until i was happy .

Spud & Erik ,Thanks for the info guys ,I appreciate you taking time to do that for me ,once I do a quick update I shall go for a look ;) Thanks again .

Chris.

Sweet looking build! I love the stance this machine has, sloping upwards in the front.

Great build Chris.

Once dry it was straight onto colour ....coming next :)

For the colour I used Tamiya Dark Yellow thinned out with Cellulose . I didnt do any fading of the panels as Im putting a whitewash on once she's all together .

A quick tip , post it notes make great temporary masks !
