I'm using this as my build thread for my entry in this years Open category Thanks for looking. Scratch built air intakes, spring for the barrel support, tow cable and applied anti-slip using Mr. Surface and fine aquarium sand.

Investigate using sandpaper before trying my technique, like Jaitea did : http://www.scalemodeladdict.com/SMF/index.php/topic,12103.0.html He got a more consistent texture, mine has bald spots, but mine seems to have a rougher grit, don't know which I'd do if I do another Merkava.
