Thanks. I tried to add some mud.I think the floor weathering looks great
I loved this kit. Lots of stuff to do with/to it. I scratch built the Gerry can bracket and the tarp. First attempt at a base. Just have fun with it and apply what you learned on the next build. I learned to check twice for molding flaws like the dimple I missed on the right side .

That is a very nice looking carrier, all it needs now is some clutter to make it looked lived in. My 251/16 Flammenwerfer is going a little slowly, depression has that effect. Get all set up then sit there not going anywhere. A big black cloud just floats in. I will take some shots and post soon. I have at least built the chassis, drivers cab and the kit mounted on the sidewalls. It's painted, varnished, now awaiting weathering before initial assembly of the lower bodywork.I loved this kit. Looking forward to seeing the photos. I know what you mean about the cloud, been there. My modeling has given me new focus and the support of the group is a great help. That is a very nice looking carrier, all it needs now is some clutter to make it looked lived in. Nearly finished my first model. Happy with it but plenty of room for improvement. Thanks for the kind words It's always a worry mentioning Metal Health, so many people still find it a scary place.
pis as soon as I get on my bench and pick up tools and Glue.
My first build so nothing to compare it to but for £12 on amazon I think it was worth it. Enjoyed the challenge and learning new skills, lot's to practice on with the next build. I will post some better photos and look forward to seeing your build.Errodynamic - yours looks great! But I have that same kit and I was more than a little disappointed with it when I opened it up and saw just how small it was. This was years ago. I thought in personal opinion that this was trash but in my professional opinion that it was passable although I would never take to a modelling show. I painted mine white with purple and pink spots all over it. I gave up on it when the doors were glued upside down and not knowing it until they wouldn't close! I still want to finish it but I need to get some sand and glue it to a wooden board for a final finishing touch. My soldiers are painted the same as the body of the Hanomag Sdkfz25I/I - they're fighting breast cancer. I'll get pictures of this when I get the treads on it.
Well it was built up to the treads. I gave it a feminine touch. I want to put it on but I now have to figure out the doors - they need new hinges. I glued the doors on correctly but with the hinges upside down.My first build so nothing to compare it to but for £12 on amazon I think it was worth it. How is the build goingI progress very slowly. Today, I have painted and weathered the floor and the meter panel. I'm quite happy with the meter panel but not so sure about the weathering of the floor.
What do you think?
