Uh, Panzer?
Frank Miller didn't do Watchmen. It was Alan Moore.

Miller did "The Dark Knight Returns" and "Sin City"

I got My wires crossed. When they say in th Trailer " from the Director of 300, I figured it was Miller, since He wrote that Graphic Novel ... Thanx for th heads-up !!

Inception. I love that movie. Soo confusing but so cool, a good storyline behind it. I also like the Terminatior, and I saw Fast and Furious 5, which was good! Also, heard about the new Dambusters movie coming out? Stephen Fry is Producing/Directing? it, with new information which was sensitive in the 50s. Filmed in New Zealand (I think) with real Lancaster(s). Should be good.

Kings Speech is a great movie also. Had a chance of watching it lately and I just loved it brilliant acting and the language :)

If this thread is going to turn into a series of YouTube trailers, can we make sure that they are PG?

No big problems so far but it may be best to keep the levels of blood and violence down.

Well guys,

I must recognize that the last time I went to cinema was in 2.005, but I like movies a lot.

Cheers, guys, (Saludos)
:)

Looking at your choices I was about to reply saying, hey I bet you'd love 'The man who would be King' Caine / Connery, about 1975 or so I think.
An utterly utterly brilliant movie, superbly acted.
But then what do I see a pic of in your sig :)

Hey, m1ks, you´re absolutely right!

“The man who would be king” is one of my favourite movies. I like a lot the friendship, good hearted spirit, and comradely between Peachy Carnehan and Danny Dravot!

It´s a great history, after all.

Those are the movies I´ve seen in the last two weeks (this is the kind of movies I prefer to see… pure classics):

I'll echo the sentiments for Moon. Good movie!

A couple of movies I've been raving about lately are, The Road and Valhalla Rising.

Another movie I can't say too many good things about is Ink.

These are my favorites... Not in any specific order:

This one made a tremendous impact on my life..just..WOW

This thread has been cold-freeze for a long time, but that can be easily fixed… :D

Well, this afternoon I looked for something that really made me laugh… at least with my sense of humour…

I´ve recalled that there was a movie that I hadn´t seen since almost 10 years ago, and it was a cracking one, for me. I remember watching this movie with my cousin, at home, VHS, several times, drinking "some" beer, while my 95 Y.O. grandma was smiling with us in the front of the TV and calling us “kids” (we kids… well, I was doing The Service and my cousin was a Semi-Pro Rugby Player, nice face his, almost a pop-eye, a self propelled wardrobe he).

:D I can´t remember how many times we watched this movie (frequently, especially after I left The Service... when I was unemployed for some months but I got some cheap / rough jobs as a low hodman with the brother of a former Service mate before I got a better job), and what brand of beer we were drinkin´ but I can remember that he and me one night, after watchin´ the movie we (my cousin and me, we were then singles & free) took out our 95 y.o. grandma and went to have a dinner we three at a Chinese restaurant… there we asked the waitress at the end of the dinner (we half boiled) to give a small shot of non mixed rum to our grandma: well, the old lady finished the shot without any trouble. No dramas. :D Great. :) She was great! :)

Those times needed to be remembered today… :D I don´t know why, but I had to see that movie again…

The movie was “The Snapper”. Real life comedy… real life… that´s all…

And this song version (part of the soundtrack) was also great; today, a classic:

Lick The Tins - I Can't Help Falling In Love (original)

Cheers
