Thanks Boots and XXX! The encouragement helps...believe me, mojo is down a bit, but slowly sparking up I think. Made very little progress, been waiting for this heat to calm down a bit so paint will actually look halfway decent when you spray! :
The smallest of small updates.....a little wiring...
Might try and finish up some of the painting I have been putting off this week(end) get this project moving in the right direction!!!
Thanks guys! I really appreciate the encouragement! Helping gear up the mojo!
Need to add some tender loving care to the firewall and I might be able to mount this lump over the weekend! 8)
@ Ace - I used fine soldering wire pushed into holes I drilled out in the distributor and the valve covers. Soldering wire bends real easy and stays put pretty good. Glue one end and let dry, you can wrap it around anywhere you like after that. ;D
soldering wire? ingenious! now i know what i will use if i get my 1/32 scale Tamiya P-51 kit for the fine wiring details, don't expose it to any major heat though! lol
(((LOL))) I would suppose you wouldn't want to Ace!!! Thinking the plastic would melt a lot sooner
Unless you have some....a good electronics store have rolls of the micro sizes wire for cheap denaro!! Works for hydraulis lines, fuel, wiring........heck, melt some in blobs it would make good melted equipment in a wreck ;D
