Hello Everyone
I wanted to write a short little note to thank you Scott for all the continued hard work you put into this and all the SMA sites. As we all know sometimes it's hard enough to find the time to Model, let alone record, edit, upload video and all the other tasks associated with running SMA.
So, Scott i just wanted to thank you personally and to let you know that your hard work is working to bring Modellers from around the world together to share and enjoy our addiction, its so refreshing to read all the positive comments and support from members on the various forums.
You saved my modelling soul when i stumbled across your show when i googled Millenium Falcon. I had never realised that these type of sites existed, I was hooked. I watched all the shows from the beginning and just loved your humor, your enthusiasm, and your commitment to our wonderful hobby. I had'nt done any real modelling for about 10 years but lately I had been suffering from a mini mid-life crisis with no real focus or direction in my life, but after seeing your show i was truley inspired to blow the dust of my tools and see what i could come up with. I decided to design my own Ship (not easy to do without copying any existing designs) and scratch build it. I have been doing this build for about 3 weeks now and progress is very slow but very rewarding. I will post pics soon in the whatcha buildin' section.
Sorry for the length of this post but i had a lot to get off my chest.
Thanks again Scott, you realy realy have helped me to find a new direction in my life.
May the Force be with us all.
