Need help,,,buying airbrush and compressor....

Hello SMA , frist time poster. I have been very much impressed with all the kits
made on this site, very ;D .So i have decided to buy an airbrush and compressor,
my question is what one should i buy , please note i am on a budget soo all suggestions
welcomed Tyvm SMA

Hey Stephen. i bought the Badger Krome not long ago from AK usa cost me â'¬129 to the door, that's cheap because its selling for £160-180, and its Fantastic.

Also if your gonna buy in Dublin Avoid Marks, if i get a hold of that cheeky sod up there ill his head off and shove it where the sun done Shine ;D

Buy the compressor in an Art store or even online where it would be cheaper again.

If you do not mind noise, any air compressor with a regulator and moisture trap will set you up for airbrushing. As for an airbrush, you need to ask to feel out a few at your local hobby shop to see which you like best. Go with a name brand and one with relatively easy to obtain parts.

Ty for info Spud, i went to Marks this week and bought two aircraft 1/72 and a ship 1/150 but alas forgot to ask about airbrush.
Ty Gundamhead for info, i am think of buy from ebay, so , should i buy separetly or buy an all-in-one .And what should i pay,like what is considered the usual price for both compressor and airbrush. There is a airbrush/compressor package at my LHS (Marks Models) for 150 euros<>: ?

My Compressor started leaking air so i sent to them and it took a month to come back to me and it was still leaking sent off a second time and it took an other month, was better this time but its not been the same since,

My Advice is don't buy from Marks, Models are fine anything else dont waste your time or money

i have a alot of questions, should i get single action dual action,,badger or iwata or other, also does the airbrush you buy come with a compressor,,if not how will i know if the compressor has moisture trap regulator etc. /?and is there a compressor brand i should stay with i see a lot of different brands on ebay? please all info appreciated as i am just starting my hobby Ty ???

the ab doesn't come with an compressor. My preference is Badger because they have Awesome Service and its nice to Support the SMA sponsors.

You will want a compressor with a moisture trap, This is a must have item living where we are
