When this will start? anything about gundam would be better I agree with the post above :)

If it were to become an official group build, it would be the same time frame as the last group builds which is October 1st till the end of February. The Big Spring Contest fills up any time after March. The October 1st till the end of February time frame will never work for me. I imagine one could do an unofficial group build during whatever time they would want.

I don't know what makes for a GB quorum, but with 9 "Yes"s and 5 "Maybe"s I'm thinking unofficial at best (that's up to Scott).

Based on feedback I'd say if we do, the subject would be something along the lines of "Anthropomorphic Mecha". :)

And make sure to clearly state "piloted and non-piloted" to help include all the MaK kit fans out there! :)

Grendels,

Where's the info for the upcoming contest? I haven't seen anything on it yet, but I have missed many things in plain sight before!

It hasn't been released by Scott posted over in the contest thread that it will be announced in a few weeks. I am one of the sponsors and I got a contact letter about it. Didn't really say much other than do you want to participate again this year?

I think Scott was saying some details would be released sometime next week. No biggie, I'm sure organizing a contest such as this is a lot of work.

Anywho - back on topic! :D

I love gunpla and think it would be awesome to be part of a group build. If it were to happen a possibility might be instead of saying only zeta or 08th ms team, it could be done by scale. Either 1/100 or 1/144 then that way it could open it up to more people instead of being so specific.

I suppose another reason that i would like it would be that primarily these are the kits i build and not so much others. I want to be more involved with the group at this forum but there doesnt seem to be a big group of gundam fans...

I know how you feel! This is the first time I have really wanted to do a group build on a specific subject! Maybe next year.....

Hey, I'm a gundam fan! :D

Besides, maybe if you participate and try out what others are into here, you might be able to sway some of the regulars into the darkside of gunpla? ;)

SOrry didnt mean to say there werent. Im about to get an airbrush booth and once i do ill stat posting some work in progress stuff for people here to sway a few.... i also build airplanes but for now im focusing on gunpla

I voted "Yes,Other". I like the Zeta designs but I haven't watched any of it and don't have any of the kits. The any mechanized design approach would probably be best to keep people interested. I would def. participate in this, esp when everyday I walk into my man cave my unopened MG Unicorn is staring at me beggine to be built O.O

you got to let me know how that goes. Im on the fence with that kit. It looks cool but its so different too

"Gundam" in general, would probably go better than getting too specific.
Me, I don't know all of the variants of the show. I just like some of the mecha

Has anyone here gotten any of the new 1/48th scale Gundam Kits?
I have not, and they are huge. :)
I like the Zakus (of course) and the New "Age Gundam" looks sweet as well.
:)
