Say Grey, are you sure Tatsuhobby is in San Diego? I believe they went down in that area
for a Gundam competition, but I'm almost certain that they reside in San Jose. I don't mean to intrude, but
may I ask if you're near the San Jose area? I mean that's awesome if you are! If so, you should attempt to

Since I started this I'll follow up with Scott and see if he wants to do something official or just leave us MS fans to our own devices.

Biskup, what do you have in mind? I think as long as it is related to, seen in, or has some sort of legitimate tie to any of the Gundam TV series or movies, it would be a welcome inclusion (1/35 Hardgraph kits, oh-so rare character figures, space ships, etc).

You know, I think I would like to try my hand at agroup build. Ecspecially something to get me over the MF that I am building. Do not know alot about Gundam, but would like to give it a try.

That my most talented friend is from Space Battleship Yamato, also known in North America as Star Blazers. Excellent TV show which I watched as a boy in the 70s, but a very different fiction from that of Mobile Suit Gundam.

hey sunsanvil i was looking at your blog and i like the paint job on mg exia. I need to paint mine but im a little nervous with my airbrush. i need to get one that can do finer detail

Yea that Exia is one of my favorite pieces. It was done with nothing more than a Badger 105 airbrush. I dont pre OR post shade in the classic sense. All white pieces are primed/painted black, then white is airbrushed working from the center of each panel or facet, and then finished by pulling back and over-spray the whole part until you are left with just that hint of shading.

Some day I will do all the other 00 mobile suits. I was waiting for MGs but (with exception of the expensive 00 Raiser) that may never happen so I'll have to collect the 1/100 HGs at some point.

i hear what your saying. I have 1/100 virtue and its great, i think kyrios would be fun. I picked up 00 seven sword g and it was so pricey im not painting it till i get better. I have been doing medium gray basecoat and then white topcoat, but for my next one i'll give black a try

I would be in depending upon the start date, and Sunsanvil, if Scott needs mod for a host, I can volunteer for it.

I only have an Exia but in 1/60. Mostly older NG 1/100 from Seed. Gave up Gundam long ago but want to finished what I left over or half built.

One of my next projects is going to be an 1/44 08th MS Team Dio. I have all the kits and am just waiting to buy the scenery components. Very interested in a Gundam Build.

All you have to do is start a build thread where the group build will be done. No need to sign up.
