Revell 1/48 P-38J Lightning, NOOB WIP

Hello guys !! well I must say that at this point I'm at 99% completion ;D.
I managed to put some damage to all the decals.... shame... i was going to go for a nice shinny un-damaged finish but... that's the type of thing you end up doing when you hurry up things.....
So it's been a fun model to build and i managed to learn a lot of things, lots of the tips i found here at the forums where really useful,

As far as the model I only have to glue the canopy and put a coat of flat varnish? (is that correct)
I'll post a pict, and you can tell me what you think :D :D

hope you guys like it, have fun !!

I like that you're showing the open weapons bay. That was one of the details that I really liked about this kit, when I built it as a kid. Looking forward to more of your progress!

Well Osquitz I am now going back to my local hobby shop Monday evening and buying that P-38 they had in stock. I told my wife I wouldn't spend anymore money this week on models, but after looking at your build I have no choice. I just want you to know I am blaming it all on you! ;D

Looks great! Keep up the good work!

Hey guys !! sorry about the absence in posting, I think I really am a bit afraid to show this to the scalemodel community especially after seeing the level of all of you in here :D
anyways here it goes, the P38 is finished, shame I managed to destroy a couple of the decals (rushing without need).
hope you guys like it, all comments, critics, tips and pretty much everything you want to say will be listened to :D :D that's the only way to improve for me ;)

ps... sorry if the pics are a bit blurry... i guess i don't have a steady hand to take them.. for the next one ill be sure to get a tripod... or a better camera lol

have fun !!
