Sunday night update, developed the rust a bit more and did some weathered painting around the engine bay.
Also I wanted to paint a couple of the doors a little, as if they had been taken from different donor cars and didn't match the totally rusted original vehicle
There will be plenty more rusting and weathering to come, I'll post again soon
Been a bit poorly the last week so not had much inclination to model, but getting better now so I've been working on the Rolls!
I painted up the interior, made a cut down screen from some discarded plastic packaging, detailed the engine and pinstriped the side to match the wheels (which I think stands out nicely against the rust).
I also attached the wheels, grille lights and of course the all important flying lady on the grille.
For the base I took a wooden plinth glued down sharp sand and when dry painted and washed to look like gravel and then added some grass tufts to break it up.
With that I think I'll call it finished, heres the photos
This has been a really interesting and challenging build, which I have thoroughly enjoyed making
