Show us your mancave(s)!

Got dat right Spud , ....... born on St Pattys day an everythin ....... as a matter of fact I'm testing a Heiny right now ......

Hummm.. Cheyenne, you have enough kits in that shelter to resist two or three consecutive armageddons... ;D

I love the dogs, they look beautiful, definitely a man´s best mates (at least, thats how/what I believe).

It is GREAT that your wife supports your hobby. Mine likes it too very much...
Cheers, Cheyenne
RG

P.S.: Oh, in the side of one of the pics can be seen a striking pencil with Heineken-shape ! ;D ;D ;D Nice ! ;D ;D

Finally decided on what I was getting for my cave. The reloading bench is getting these:

I'll be drawing up a little floorplan of where everything is going in a bit. More expensive than I wanted to do, but the Mrs talked me into it convincing me that building workbenches upstairs would be a pain if we ever needed to reclaim the space for family if the fecal matter hit the fan and someone had to move in with us. I can agree with that.

I'll be building my shelf/cabinet today, and making up some plans to build my painting booth. Stoked!

Looks like a sweet plan to me!

Thank ya, thank ya. Everything was delivered last night and I started building everything. Only one problem - the pegboard/light for the reloading bench was munched in shipping, so I have to exchange it this weekend for another. That aside, everything is here and it's going to work out great. Wish I could have had the option for intermediate height workbenches, but I'll get over it. Gives me plenty of storage under the bench! :D

I'll have pics this weekend after everything's together. All I'll need after that is some custom shelves for paint, a paint booth, Ooh, I could also go for. . . *drifts off while counting way too many wants to count*

This is my "manland"....
Ocupied by pretty much everything that is involved in my life...
That is:
3 Rc planes & 1 heli plus all the things that go with that.
Live sound mixing gear (ls9) and lighting desk (chamsys) and a microphone stock..
Fish tank
currently 5 PC's (one isnt mine).
Modeling stuff (stashed away, dont want the 2 year old finding paints/solvents etc).
Various other gifts and memories i've acumulated......

It gets me by....

I spent about half of my Spring Break remodelling the mancave...

Just some cheap Ikea tables that wrap around the room and a 'toolchest' on casters that fits nicely under the tables. I can wheel it out when I'm working. My Paasche spraybooth arrived in the mail a few days ago, but my new Iwata SmartJet Pro is still tied up in customs.

I would not call your set up Cheap! Those table tops, plus legs, did cost you a wallop!

Nice open space you have! Nice spray booth! Now crack open that AFV Stryker! Chop chop!

And this from the man that has reviewed pretty much every Stryker variant out there, but never built one??!! I kid, I kid ;) I'll get cracking on it once I fill out the contest entry form tomorrow.

That Stryker MCV you reviewed looks like an amazing kit with the full interior. Shame about the cheesy box art.

Is'nt it interesting................

after looking through all the workshop images that many of us have similar racks constructed from wood for our paints, tools and solvents? Some very nice shops out there gang!

Weeeeee ! Free Table :)

Looks a little better and gives me some room for parts and tools other than my current space. Need some shelving or perhaps some storage drawers on the cheap
