It's been a while yes? I decided to try and participate in this group build. No lighting, just a nice paint job and mount it to the stand. Hope you enjoy the video.

Its taxidermy paint for fish, of all things.

I bought the blue, green,red, and gold, may pick up the violet for a side project. These are the same paints that Trekworks uses on YouTube for his 1/350 Refit.

OK well the pearlescent was going too slow and I have 6 days to finish. So I decided to pick up the Aztec Decals from Round 2. So far these things are awesome.








I did goof up some of the decal locations but it's too late to fix it. Also The engines are mounted to the torpedo launcher. I am going to decal the inside portions then attach it to the ship.



If anybody wants to know the shad of blue I used, it's Tamiya Sky Blue mixed with Flat White.

Absolutely gorgeous!!

I'm thinking about building this at some point for my brother. It's a shame that the Aztec decals are not included in the kit though. No matter.

One question though. How much space is available in the hull to potentially light her up?
