Based on part-count alone I'd agree. They had their "pro-modeler" series before and for the most part they were decent quality.

Still plenty of flash on these, but alignment looks good

I'm going to have to watch Top Gun this weekend to get the helmets right. Unfortunately I think I have to cut their legs off at the knees to get them to fit in the cockpit. The pilot figure that came with the kit is useless.

Painted the inside of the intakes with glossy black, I like how it catches the light to see the fans down inside.

REVELL IS AWSOME!!!!.........not.
In the instructions it indicates part #2 for the jet exhaust.
NO MENTION that you have to assemble the exhaust out of 6 pieces each of 101 and 102.
Doesn't even really go together all that well, oh well, par for the course, putty and sand.......
