There were four coats of future on top of those decals. I didn't think they would pull up with that many coats! And the future had set up for three days before I did this. Not really that big of a deal. Just slows me down.

Whoa! Four coats? And they STILL came up?
Only way I can see that happening is if the decal wasn't actually set on the surface.
Still, four coats should have EASILY dealt with any loose edges.....

Now, having seen the video, I may know what happened on the nacelle.
Was that the nacelle you had to fix the Future overspray on?
If so, the ammonia may have weakened that area, allowing for the decal to be pulled up

No, I used a q-tip to apply the ammonia, so it was in a very controlled manner, and no where near the decals. With that many coats of future on the model, I was surprised that the decals came up. I was also using a very low tack tape.

Again this is how you learn.....and in front of an audience to boot. ;D
