What do you snack on

I don't snack. Because I smoke.

When I quit smoking, I will be hungry more and snack and become a very large person.

So, Now I am fit. Seriously. I fell better and have more energy at 62 than I did at 40.

But still I am shortening my life here with a few cigarettes and cigars. Instead of killing myself with Suzy Q's and Klondike bars and Snickers and Payday bars and Lays and Fritos. (My favorites).

In the end we chose our own poison. Nobody keeps this body forever.

Got addicted at an early age, while the politically incorrect jingle was still on the air, mini bag in my lunch box along with Sunmaid raisins... until a spider crawled outta the raisin box!
Anybody else subjected to mock chicken and pizza loaf in the 60s?
The stuff we survived in those days, we can probably eat anything at this point in our lives! Fancy was celery with CheeseWiz, orange rice made with Tang (heck, astronaut food!), salad trapped in a bowl of Jello! Spaghetti in tomato juice with sliced wieners!
Really fancy was Swanson TV dinner on a TV tray, watching Ed Sullivan or Bugs Bunny, Wide World of Sports or Walt Disney! The peas tasted like cardboard, the gravy and mashed potatoes like aluminum...Yum!
I'm sure the Man from U.N.C.L.E didn't have to put up with that!

My wife got me a subscription to Universal Yums which features snacks from all over the world...been enjoying some Haggis potato chips and Thai sweet and sour rice crisps.

What is the difference between a snack and a appetizer? Guess it is the moment you serve it and the form it is cooked and produced? I guess that before junk food was invented the snack was an appetizer and then "they" see the opportunity to make big bucks out of a commercial product...

I kinda like snack when I was a young kid, because I didn't have the information of what junk food was... If it is announced on the tube, it must be good, because the government wants the best for us... yeah right. After some time eating snack as a pastime I realized that they are very harmful for your health, and slowly cut them of from my diet. But still, leaving aside the cancer, diabetes, hepatitis, pancreatitis, obesity, cholesterol and thrombosis, just to name a few serious health afflictions... I love to snack wile I'm having a beer or some cheap wine, usually with my friends at home, or at some local heavy metal pub here in my home town. The snacks I love the most are Lays, Pringles, Tuk, and some other crackers biscuits, some peanuts and the most expensive snack I know that is pistachio... I al so like some hybrid cookies from Milka, and some balkanic-turkish snaks that are: halva, halvita and chocolate made with rum.

I don't drink soda very often, but every now and then I get a craving for Cheez-its. I like to eat 'em with a little bit of peanut butter smeared on 'em.

Do you remember Nabisco's Cheez-it knock-off, Cheese Nips? Basically the same shape, but flavoring is different. Like the difference between Oreos and Hydrox.

A good friend of mine nearly died from that combo, now he is sick, diabetis and stomach illnes and he ruined his life for eating two years of university that combination. Played coputer games end only eated muffins and drink coke...

Right now a friend is visiting, we have some beer and snacks and a romanian soda made out of some plants mix.
