More like bobcats to me!I'm currently feeding the squirrels
Currently working on the Bandit trans Am in a group build (although I think it's just 2 of us).I'm interested to see what everyone currently has on the workbench. I myself have a clean slate to start 2025 with. My current plan is to build the Academy 1/350 USS Indianapolis CA-35 with the Pontos Models Advanced upgrade kit and Eduard PE sets as well.
I would really like to start the project as a group build of any Cruiser of the time period. However, I'm not sure how group builds work here at SMA.
Anyway, curious to hear about current projects on the workbench.
Thanks for the information about group builds. Looks like a fun project with the Trans Am, nice touch it came with the hat...lol.Currently working on the Bandit trans Am in a group build (although I think it's just 2 of us).
Group builds tend to be pretty loose with any rules, generally a start date then just post photos as you go.
I usually just suggest a build and start a new thread then wait to see who is interested in joining. Pantherman
I have a bunch of those re-released heller Diorama sets. Koufra and Samaur are two of them. The figures and equipment are not great, but they offer subjects usually only available in resin. The Samaur set has the anti-tank gun and crew, the Gnome-Rhone motorcycle and the Hotchkiss MG and crew. I have other sets of heller figures just for nostalgic reasons.
Nice... I came upon these at my LHS, before he had to move to smaller shop with all the recent rent increases... and they fit my North African campaign criteria!heller figures
North Africa is also one of my favorite WWII subjects.Nice... I came upon these at my LHS, before he had to move to smaller shop with all the recent rent increases... and they fit my North African campaign criteria!
