Which C119 to keep?

Just received two C119 Flying Boxcars. Testors #675 and Italeri #146. Any thoughts on which to keep?

Kitbashem together into an extended fuselage , 4 engine , quad-boom -- then sling some massive anti-ship torpedoes beneath each twin boom .

Italeri kits are not the greatest. I did an F-16 Viper kit and he belly tank was too large for 1/72 scale. Couldn’t even install the main gear doors in open position properly.

I'd bet they're the same kit under the covers - Testors & Italeri had a long partnership.

Testors no longer produce kits. Italeri kits has always been known for odd fit, odd out of scale stuff. We had one member in another forum who didn’t believe me then, now understood why and won’t do another Italeri kit. He ended up binning the POS.

I’ve always avoided Italeri aircraft kits altogether since that Viper kit. I haven’t heard negative issues that I’m aware of on their armor kits.
