Thank you all for your kind words! Before you get too excited let's see how well I can paint this thing up. Good news is I'll have a little help from some new friends!
Thanks for the complements guys! Scratch, every time I want to get the paint ready, the box keeps pouring out little pieces of plastic that need to be glued together.... It's not one of those fancy Tamiya kits that build themselves.... hahaha
Haha, I just want to get in built so I can start painting!!!! Not too much to go, three seats, one more box covered in wheels and knobs etc, and then one more blast shield. Then I can paint!!!!!
Yay, well I HAVE to get this one finished!!! That A-10 that I bought on Sunday is calling my name... So much so that I ordered P.E. and a Aires Aces II ejection seat. Uh oh!!!!
SO, I must get this build complete and primed by the end of the weekend!
After our talk Sunday, you guys convinced me to enter the next show, Apple Valley. I'd really like to enter this and the A-10. But no where near 13 like our other friend from up north!
I'm looking forward to mine, but I just realized I should have gotten the cheaper kit without the trailer considering I'll build it in combat configuration.
I need to get the Aires cockpit for my A-10 The Eduard PE was a disappointment.
Don't discount how cool the trailers are! Even if you are going to display this in combat configuration you can leave the trailers aside as part of the dio! There is so much detail to them you can't leave 'em out.
In terms of the A-10, Did you get the Big Ed set or just the interior set? I only ask because I only got the Ejection Seat not the whole cockpit. What I really like about the Big Ed is it comes allows you to show the Gun Bay open. Such a shame to hide that bad @$$ gun!
I just got the zoom set for the cockpit. The kit actually comes with two gun nozzles so that you can display the gun separately, but I'll just be using the gun nozzle and not building the gun.
