1965 Chevy stepside pick-up

Did a project for this model..I wanted to show a model in a model. The theme that developed was "BRING YOUR HOBBIES TO WORK DAY." So some models/hobby items were needed..

Also wanted an R/C car..Made one from a 1/87th scale Bel-air and a scratch controler..

So a lot completed today..Finished the tail lights, the door hinge, had to drop the MAS PE pc's and use the wire method..placed the lic plate/holder under the tailgate...

Got some more done..A small dio of 1/285th figs,made a bottle of water from clear sprue finished up some more in the engine bay. Batt cables,fan still have a few a things to button up before it is completed..Also got the wipers on..

So the engine compartment is finished, icluded brake lines,vacuum lines, heater hoses..

So this build is now in the books..This was a fun build..Tried a few new things and learned a few things..I have enjoyed watching everyone's builds take shape..So here are the final pics...Want to thank everyone who commented on the build..It does help you drive a bit more!!

Thanx for the comments everyone..It was a fun build..Did have an issue with the putty..It shrank a small amount 2 weeks after I thought it had cured, a first for me..Unsure why, could have been a bad batch?? So anyway thanx. will probably just leave it be for now.
