A-Wing Hasbro Scaled Scratch-Build

Very interesting, J! You know, watching your vids I'm thinking more and more about building a vacuum-former to. This thing is really broadening horizons widely. It would be left only to practice in casting, play with some etching acids and buy some decaling paper, and, ta-daam! a new modeling factory is ready for opening ;D

Thanks G thanks guys....... I wasn't happy with stuff going on
at the rear the stabilizers were a bit off between top and bottom.
I also didn't like a few gaps going on with the bulkhead either,
so I ended up forming two more engines, attaching two new
stabilizers, cutting a new bulkhead.
This time I glued in the inner bulkhead instead of having
the engines attached, now the engines can come on and off
away from the bulkhead. The way I knew I should have done it
from the beginning.

New inner bulkhead with gun ports in place on each end,
notice the (2) supports to keep them from breaking off when I drill
the holes for the laser cannons

It's looking good Micheal. That canopy really looks right and the other gap issues are getting straightened out. This is a really nice build. Gonna look awesome man.

;D Thanks guys few videos of the ultracal 30
Click on the pic to start the video.....sorry about
the noisy dryer in the background.....almost time
for a new one!! LOL

Thanks for showing off the Ultracal 30. Looks better than good old plaster of paris.

It is G this has a PSI strength of around 6,000psi where the
plaster of Paris is around maybe 2,000psi so it holds points
and sharp edges better, like the very nose of the canopy.
It also doesn't wick moisture nearly as much as plaster of Paris,
I really like that about it!!

Wicking moisture is one of the things I don't like about Plaster of paris. If you do a second pour on top of cured plaster, it can come out really funny due to this problem.
