A-Wing Hasbro Scaled Scratch-Build

Nice little tutorial on panel lines! I use Dymo tape to make mine. It sticks by itself, and has a good straight edge.

Just caught up on the previous vids. Great work.

I'm really impressed by how clean you keep your 'bench'. Looks like you have what you need...but don't let things get cluttered. I should try that.

I want to try the dymo tape.....one less
step not having to tape down!

It is a really tough ridged plastic. Because of this it works great! You can even cut the strip in half to double the amount of panel lines you can get out of one piece.

Most office stores carry it.

Dude. I'm not sure if I work WELL in mess, but when I do work, it's usually in a mess. LOL.

Ah, panel lines! My greatest rivals! ;D
You are doing great, J, keep up the good work, this would be killer in the end!

Scott, buddy, I recognize myself 100 percent in your words ;D I hate mess, but when I work on a model, I find myself borrowed by stuff surprisingly fast :) Can't fully understand how that hapens: I try always to put everything on it's place. It's probably some quantum-mechanics in partnership with dark woodoo-magic involved)))

Looking good. Interesting to watch you form the canopy. I was wondering about that with the earlier videos.

I didn't think it was Balsa, you would never get it that thin and hold up to any handling. It did come out well.

LOL Yea thats for sure G! ;D

This video should have become before.....i mounted the rail to
the center insert here, oh well you guys get it! ;D

I need to get one of those glue applicators.

I can't help with forming clear, I only did one try at vacuum forming and that was 30 years ago in wood shop. I don't really remember much of it.

Too bad that Kenner figure is a bit large....

Thanks G no problem I get the applicators at my plastic
distributer.....if you cant find them let me know i can
pick up a couple for you.

Ok when we took the guns off the fighters in Vietnam
we found out how important the old dog fight was.....
so the A-wing gets some guns well 1 and a half anyway! ;D
Just used some evergreen tube and made it work.

To get the targeting sensors on top
to mount I just used some evergreen
channel, because that gave me a good gluing
surface on the top and bottom.
