BIG RIG RAT

Love that vid!! LOL!!! Wife just watched it too...she thinks that guy single-handedly punched a hole in the Ozone!! Awesome~! ;)

That rig T posted is pretty neat. I think it would make a great model. I love the look of the engine with all the wires hanging off.

Got a rolling chassis. All scratch built minus the axles and front shocks (and rims). Gotta say...I'm pretty happy to have learned enough about suspensions to pull this off. Really appreciate all the help figuring this out.

Some Super Wide tires on that would be cool also

None in scale however, but then maybe that would take some of the truck aspect of it away.

None available? That sucks cuz I'd buy some for another build I have planned.

Probably some obscure resin company that makes them, but nothing in main stream kits

Been mocking up this build. Engine needs to move forward and I have to raise the crossmember that the rear shocks attach to.

Hopefully some Tamiya thin will loosen the cross member enough just to slide it up, lowering the rear end of the frame.

As for the engine mounts. I'm gonna most likely tear them out and replace. Not a big deal. This build is as much a design job as it is modeling. Tons of fun, I love this kinda work.
