After completing the Kitty Hawk Pave Hawk, decided to tray another helicopter from KH, and went for the Little Bird MH-6J.
To make a diorama, will add the M1114 Humvee, a ready terrain for one side, some figures, walls...

And the diorama.
On the opposite side of the ruins, is the "ready terrain" I purchased and the pole on top of container is for the MH-6.
I still want to add some grass on the right side and need to turn the road matt.
Obviously, i have been working on this project since a few weeks and getting close to complete,IMG_8405.jpgIMG_8407.jpgIMG_8408.jpg

Helicopter almost completed and Humvee progressing with assembly and decals... Very light weathering inside as I will close the doors and I decided to not install the turret on top to have a simpler look.IMG_8419.jpgIMG_8420.jpgIMG_8421.jpg

unless someone has ideas to improve.
I do have one idea, but it'll be rather difficult (or at least a ton of work) to incorporate here: angle the road relative to the sides of the base :) Dioramas look better when the elements on them aren't at right angles to the base's sides, which is mainly a suggestion to take along for your next one :)

You guys are killing me with these dioramas!

The almost cinematic experience is awesome!
The implied movement, action and atmosphere you create through poses, positioning and environment are so evocative...

Cheers!

Jakko,
I did "angle" the road a bit, but got what you said, and will do it more next time... Thanks

TBH, the angle is so small that I really didn't notice it — it just looked to be at a right angle to the side to me. Could be the perspective of the photographs throwing me off, of course.
