The gas pedal seems a very odd omission, but checking the instructions on Scalemates, there really is no mention of it in the instructions. Great going, Bronco It should be easy enough to make from some plastic strip, though.

Had several reference photos in my build folder, and decided to shape it out of PE sprue.
I'll have update later once the dash is in and steering column.

So I made a gas pedal, then a hand brake, then why not the panel latches at both ends of the dash, then seat adjustment levers... what the heck, throwing carpet mats for free!

I understand, I was in bed with whatever bug caught me for 3 days

Bonnet and wheels on, hubcaps lost their shine, but some progress, also the braces over wheel wells that will support the roof mechanisms.
Next step light sand paint over...

We join little mouse as her paint dries, waiting for next coat. A few good fellows have come out to audition for a spot on the shelf with Topo, and the Blackshirt has broken into song!
...not that kind of audition!

2nd casting call:
"We know that Bronco cast you as DAK sitting completely in the car...show me you really want to get out!".
We've had to move your leg and give you a new head. We'll Italianize your uniform a bit and probably have to trim your butt as well to make room for the steering wheel in your lap.



With his masked buddy standing in the back looking anxiously into the distance, I'm hoping that they add a bit of movement and drama to an otherwise static scene. The 'wild rag' dust mask puts these guys outside of Tripoli, in a colonist's car that may have been pushed into service and repainted.
Just when I thought that I was almost done!
