HIMMELSFALKE --- Ma.K. Falke XL

I never wear a dust mask and I weld and run the plasma cutter in shorts and sandals ... sometimes barefoot .
I do wear safety glasses when applicable .
And try and remember the cig between my lips when I reach for the acetone

Added a 5 mm thick steel bulkhead to the fuselage and 2 ring magnets to the spine -- Just for added security ; the spine fits pretty snug as is .
Now to start finishing out the forward section of the fuselage .

In order to work the underside ,
I made a sled that keys into alignment with the jig the same as the Falke does when upright .

The bulk of the mass sits upon the center stool which also aligns the build on the centerline of the jig .
The stool keys with the styrene spine . ( yellow arrow )
The bulkhead @ front aligns it across it's span .

The screw sticking up locks the sled into place when tightened :

Now that I have the geometry of the ram-air intake figured out ( for cooling the super-capacitors ) I need to cast another one as the passages will be further aft and I took out too much material inside along the centerline .

Once the new intake is positioned the whole assembly will be fleshed-out .
Then I'll need to construct a beam director at the output of the laser .

For Consideration :

The first mold of the Sharpie cap was kinda crap -- the cap got pushed too close to the lighter next to it so the wall was too thin .
