Italian Job Mini (with a twist)

That is a great twist on the usual Italian Job mini builds... I recently saw this sell on eBay so it is really nice to see its creation... I feel (having seen the work that you put into the build) that it undersold.

thanks for the positive comments, unfortunately i dont have the space to keep all the models i make so i sell them on to make some more room and get some money back into the kitty for more projects.

for me the fun is in the building so i dont mind!

As usual, a stunning build Mr Leighbo

I really like your dio's, you always bring a real originality to your subjects,
and you always seem to bring an interesting back story to them, no matter what the subject.

Great stuff.

Whats next?

ive got in mind a 1/43 scale French decaying abandoned petrol station with a couple of rusty cars.

Im going for the smaller scale so i can fit a couple of cars in and a largish building without taking up acres of space.

The French angle is that most 1/43 kits are by Heller and are Renaults and Citroen.

Whats next in you mind?

I have a 1/12th Williams FW14B from Tamiya that i want to make into a dio, a bit like this:
Like the one in the picture the car will be in the process of being assembled. I have been assembling some accesories for the build, i have a 1/12th PE tool kit but its not that good so i might need to make my own.

I also want to scratch build some 1/12th scale Slalom Kayaks using Roto-casting which i will have to make my own machine and learn how to make 2 part molds and all that other cool Smooth-on stuff.
