Hi ya Spud ,Yes mate thats all the main parts built ,I just put the basecoat on , so Im off to pick up my daughter ,then I'll shoot the Yellow on ;D

Thanks again Erik ;).....the muffler guard was the easy bit ;D

Back from the paintshop ;D

All the main parts are now painted .....and again ,done with Dark Brown base followed by the Yellow .although not really noticable in the pics ,I let the brown show through in the shadowed areas in the fighting comp walls ,it will show better once the Klear goes on ....which is next ;D

Freak ...dont worry ,Im not stopping ;D....enjoying this one !.

Right ,the paint was well dry this afternoon ,so all the parts got a couple of good coats of Klear/Pledge ,That gets everything sealed up and I can start the fun tomorrow ;D

;) ROGER, Chris, it seemed to me that it was a DY lighted with some drops of Buff or White...

Really, it seems to me a very nice DY, Chris.

Jelly ,normally I would lighten a little with Buff or Deck Tan to fade the panels out a bit . But Im doing a whitewash this time so no point really ;)

thats some ive never used on a model is that Klear stuff what does it do apart from sealing it and make it look glossy?
 
(((lol))) Thats the whole point of it mate ,to seal the paint for weathering and give a glossy surface for the decals and for the washes . It can be used as a clear finish too ,it polishes up real nice ;)
