That is how I wanted to do mine. Why do these things look soooo cool in winter camo?

Maybe you can run it through the Ye Ole Buggy Wash and get the rest of it off. ;D

Oh i'm so terrible today ;)

Just when I thought  here we go with another  It keeps getting better and better chris! Is the white wash an enamal over acyrlic?

Thanks Q ;)

Moved on another little bit :)

I needed to change the 'tone ' of the paint a bit .This vehicle is going on a small dio which will be set in a cold, dark ,dirty and wet winter day ...thats the plan ???
So I had to tone down the Yellow and white ,and give a bit of a greyish appearance in keeping with the scene .

To do this I took MIG's Dark wash and thinned it by about 50% so it was a very thin wash .The Marder got another coat of clear ,then the wash was applied all over .
Once dry I took a brush dampened with thinners and removed a lot of the wash ,this left a very thin film ,just enough to cool down the colours . I still need to remove a few more bits ,but you can see where its going ....hopefully !!
