Marder III Ausf.M

I think you just enjoy the fumes ;D...ya need to get out more ;)

Chris.

Thanks Eastrock ;)

T ...lol...I know mate ,kinda make me happy too ;D..going to throw up a few pics with the driver getting out ,tell me what you think ..yes/no ?

Chris.

Ok ,This is what Im thinking for the driver . I like to try and sort out my figures as I go through the build ,so they become part of it ,rather than being stuck on after .

This figure still need a bit of work ,his right arm is in mid air at the mo ,but will be adjusted so his hand is resting on the hatch lid .

Any opinions :D

Chris.

I kind of like the human touch to it. Even more so knowing how you paint your figures too!! That would be one Yay from me!!! ;)

Clean build buddy !!! but God what an Awfully Small War Machine this is....

The figure looks huge next to it.... LOL

How many crew were supposed to serve in that ???

I'm not taking anything away from your build... BTW just stating the SIZE of the real life machine.... I am sure the people back then were smaller than what we are today... !!! Our war machines are ten times the size of this poor gal !

Keep up the good work !!!

later buddy !

I like it! The way he is lifting his left knee up really suggests that he is on his way out. Even without paint, his face is saying I'm tired and sore and let me the heck out of this thing!! I think it makes for some very interesting viewing.

Thanks a lot guys :)

The figure is actually 'MB (Masterbox ) with a Dragon helmet .

Got a lot of time in the spraybooth today ,so I'll have loads of pics up a bit later ;)

Chris.

LOL.....Thanks FT ;)

Ok ,heads up .....big update from the paintshop ;D.

First up ,all the bits got hit with my usual Dark Brown basecoat .....

DSCF3749.jpg

I followed that with Red Primer in the areas required ......

DSCF3750.jpg

Then the engine & tranny were done with Green and the radiator / fan housing hit with light grey ...

DSCF3753.jpg
DSCF3754.jpg

Then onto the wheels ...Dark Yellow of course ;D

DSCF3755.jpg

While the Yellow was going I done the lower hull too ,I also painted the drivers comp with White ,should be Ivory ,but the washes will change the colour

DSCF3756.jpg

So now I have this pile of bits to play with ....

DSCF3759.jpg

But I will move on with the fighting comp and upper hull while that lot dries .

Thanks for looking.

Chris.
