Ok ,This is what Im thinking for the driver . I like to try and sort out my figures as I go through the build ,so they become part of it ,rather than being stuck on after .
This figure still need a bit of work ,his right arm is in mid air at the mo ,but will be adjusted so his hand is resting on the hatch lid .
Clean build buddy !!! but God what an Awfully Small War Machine this is....
The figure looks huge next to it.... LOL
How many crew were supposed to serve in that ???
I'm not taking anything away from your build... BTW just stating the SIZE of the real life machine.... I am sure the people back then were smaller than what we are today... !!! Our war machines are ten times the size of this poor gal !
I like it! The way he is lifting his left knee up really suggests that he is on his way out. Even without paint, his face is saying I'm tired and sore and let me the heck out of this thing!! I think it makes for some very interesting viewing.
Ok ,heads up .....big update from the paintshop ;D.
First up ,all the bits got hit with my usual Dark Brown basecoat .....
I followed that with Red Primer in the areas required ......
Then the engine & tranny were done with Green and the radiator / fan housing hit with light grey ...
Then onto the wheels ...Dark Yellow of course ;D
While the Yellow was going I done the lower hull too ,I also painted the drivers comp with White ,should be Ivory ,but the washes will change the colour
So now I have this pile of bits to play with ....
But I will move on with the fighting comp and upper hull while that lot dries .
