The streaks have all been done with ak interactive's 'streaking grime' products (wish they did greys and blacks!)

Not sure which ones you have but I believe the one for Panzer Gray vehicles is pretty close to black. I may be thinking of the wrong one exactly but they are all packed away for a show and I can't look through them.

They did just announced a bunch of new ones too, and of course, they are always interested in hearing feedback. I'd fire off an email to Iain Hamilton with a few photos of this attached and tell them just that.

You may be surprised at just how receptive they are to input.

Great kit and just to make sure is the Falcon also 1/72 scale? It looks that way and it looks really good in the show case. By the way is it from IKEA??

AWESOME indeed! Just one question and please don't think this as criticism....
The window frames look huge! must be the size of your head!
That's not to say your head is huge but the frames look head sized huge! Lol
I think if I was to build this one, I might be inclined to thin them... What do you think?

As a side note, wouldn't the asymmetrical design of the other freighter cause the ship to fly around in circles, with it's engines not aligned with its center of mass?

Not if the torsional acceleration dampers are correctly aligned and the thrust vectoring control relays are calibrated!
