Looking good, I always thought that the Sherman had a radial engine. I am guessing that certain models of the Sherman had a V8 and others had the radial? I am no armor expert!
 
I tried to apply the Color Modulation process, (lighter area painted with a lighter color layer, darker area painted wirh a darker color layer).
I lighted the base color (Olive drab) with a small amount of yellow and I darkened with a little amount of dark gray ...

Great looking Sherman.
 
Looking good, I always thought that the Sherman had a radial engine. I am guessing that certain models of the Sherman had a V8 and others had the radial? I am no armor expert!
I thought the same thing. The tall radial engine is why the M4 is so tall compared to it's contemporaries. Before I was about to ask I looked it up and indeed the vehicle was designed with a radial and many of them had radials, but not all. You learn something new every day right?

350 or 400 hp (261 or 298 kW) at 2,400 rpm[3]
