Solander's "Gungan Reaper" (AAT)

Awesome work once again Sol. Great update.

I'm not a fan of the prequels either, but the design and music was all excellent. The writing on the other hand was what let it down for me. Fortunately, that doesn't affect model building. 8)

Excellent ! ;D

For the grills, I also look at the kitchen, even pluming facilities... You have a great deal of opportunities in water filters !
Some friends even used some fabrics, the texture and look is the same at some scale.

Nice, Sol. Daily updates! You're really going for it! Keep up the great work. :)

As good as the kit is, there's a lot of other little finessing you can do with the body.

I'm working from pics of the full size prop - http://www.forbiddenplastic.com/ref_star_wars/ref_sw_mos_tf_aat.html

Great links, thank You a lot, buddy! I'll check to include those corrections as well ;)

And thanks Grendels and Igard! Sorry, not quite daily updates, but I'll try my best not to take too long with this one. I really want to relax a bit after a half-year projects, and build something fast and cool :)

Thanks, J))
But the things are going EXTREMELY slow right now - got a lot distracting me from it with Holidays, exams session and the release of The Old Republic all at the same time ::)
Have a great determination to sit at the workbench right now and do some work on it. Hope it happens, and the new update would be not so far away ;)

Thank You, Mike :)

Have done a very little bit more during the two last nights.

First, made a few steps in bringing the area around the hatch in order. It was an absolute mess after the hatch has been drilled out.

Then, detailed the torpedo/rocket launcher tubes. Still got to get rid of seams with the help of green stuff.

After that I've finished the work on the hatches underside. Looks a bit rough now, but I hope that some paint would bring it in order :)

And finally the side gun's barrels have got a little bit of detailing to look closer to the studio model.

Will try to do a little bit more this year ;D

Thanks, guys! And happy New Year everyone! ;)
You were correct, Ziz, the time before the New Year flew by to fast, but with a couple of additional hours today, the first day of 2012, I've managed to gather a bit for an update))
Well, this is pretty straight: I've done whats inside the main hatch. Didn't bother with to much detailing, as this area would be barely visible with the battle-droid in place. Just enough to give a feeling that all the machinery is ok there inside ;)
