Soviet SU-85M Dragon kit

I know i shouldnt start this because its only get stoped once my haul of stuff arives, that will be posted once it arives so you can geuss what ive ordered ;D

ok so while im waiting on layers to dry on the Stryker i want to keep my fingers busy, this is the Kit of choice. the Pe fret scares the crap outa me because some bits are so small i doubt they will be used.

This will also be my First Russian Tank build, so Dirty and battered is the flavor i have in mind.

Hey spud!!! Saaaaaahhhhhhweet Love the PE brotha'!!! Some of them straps will looks awesome all beat up!!!

As for the suspension.....shoot Mr. Steve Reid a PM!!!! He made some of the inserts for the suspension without the springs. This way they could be positioned any way he wanted. Ask him. He may show you how to fix it or even have the fix-it pieces for ya!!

I have the SU-100 that the released a couple of years ago, and since this is basically that kit, with the smaller gun...I can say that it is a very much well detailed and awesome kit. Of course mine still sits on the shelf waiting to be built!!

Yeah, the SU-100 actually comes with 3 barrels. The usual 2 piece barrel (2 halves), a slide molded one piece styrene barrel as well as a metal barrel. Not sure why the over kill on barrels in the SU-100....just means I can use the slide molded barrel elsewhere.
