they are great im using them on my tiger. there slow but very nice
 
Spud once you work out a system you can can put a set together in no time.
I place a TV tray on my lap with a couple of containers to hold the parts along with my tools and watch TV while putting them together. 8)

That wouldn't work for me, my woman is in control of the remote.. And il be up every two mins looking for my brass rod on the other side of the room:)

ah your beeing to hard on yer self tony ::) what are these alan kits like to build?
 
To start with they have been marketed under several different brand names but they all use the same molds.
The only reason to buy one is if no one else produces a model of what you're looking for.
They are lumps of plastic in a box with nice box art.

The way I see it they are last resort kits Spud.
